Elizabeth Shaffer
As a second time around college student after a long career as a practicing attorney I am learning how to be a student again, although, my practice as a litigator and presently having my own business requires continued learning. I grew up in the Midwest and emigrated to the west after high school, and have spent most of my adult life now between Arizona and Utah. I am going back to school to obtain my BSN and look forward to a new second career. The body and mind are fascinating to me. I am a born caretaker, perhaps because I have five younger brothers. I enjoy helping people, to be able to empathize with them and comfort them in times of hardship, presently as they navigate the legal world and going forward in the medical world. I also enjoy the sunshine, the mountains, beaches and traveling. My husband, daughter and I have an English bulldog named Sherman.
